A city that is hard to leave

By Klaudia Bednárová

Bratislava will charm you with its atmosphere, people, and the feeling that things here work naturally, without rushing, at their own pace. It is an ideal and surprisingly memorable place for Erasmus+. So be prepared: when you are packing up to leave after the course, you will definitely say to yourself that you could have used one more day in Bratislava.

Education that is part of the city

By Klaudia Bednárová

The Bridge premises are located right in the center of Bratislava, a few steps from Michael’s Tower, and combines professional development, an international community of people who want to learn and share their experiences, and an inspiring environment. The school’s terrace offers a view of Bratislava Castle.

A lively city centre

By Klaudia Bednárová

You will quickly discover that the historic center of Bratislava is lively, but does not feel crowded or artificial. There are plenty of cafés and pleasant establishments where you can enjoy a hot drink, galleries and museums, cultural venues and squares, concert clubs, and even a city beach in the summer. All these places invite you to meet up, chat, or enjoy a moment of silence if you need it. If you long for a piece of nature, you can relax in parks, by the river, or take a walk to the woods.

Excellent location and accessibility from Vienna

By Klaudia Bednárová

One of Bratislava’s biggest advantages? Definitely its location, its own airport with connections to almost all of Europe, and the accessibility of other cities such as Vienna, Budapest, and Prague. You can also travel to Bratislava by train or bus.

A city where everything is close by

By Klaudia Bednárová

Most of your historical and cultural explorations can be done on foot. However, you can also rent one of the yellow or pink bicycles or use public transport. There are stops at every turn and the lines are practically interconnected.

A city that quietly tells its story

By Klaudia Bednárová

Bratislava is different from larger metropolises at first glance. The historic center is complemented by more modern surrounding neighborhoods, and each stage the city has gone through in the past has left a significant mark here. Medieval towers alternate with functionalist buildings, and the architecture of the 20th century naturally recalls the socialist era, which also significantly shaped the face of the city. Together, they create a colorful, yet somehow harmonious whole.

Odilia Tirone

By kurzy

Odilia was born in Italy but has lived and travelled across Europe a lot during her studies. She has a master’s degree in Translation, but found her true calling in teaching, sharing her experience and knowledge with others. So, in September 2024, she became an English teacher.

Besides teaching and travelling, she loves painting. She’s held three art exhibitions in different cities in Italy, including an individual one as well as with other Italian artists. Don’t ask her to choose between a lazy Sunday afternoon with her cat or a Sunday morning bike trip outdoors, she won’t be able to choose between them easily.

She believes great communication is the key to success, that’s why she does her best to create a friendly and supportive environment for her students to help them thrive.
