About course

School can be challenging even for students who are motivated and eager to do well.

Has your teenager recently changed school? Are they struggling to adapt to a heavier workload and new demands? Maybe they know the material but don't know how to study independently and effectively. Perhaps they leave everything until the last minute, find it difficult to organise their time, or feel anxious before tests and exams. Some students lose confidence in their abilities simply because they have never learned effective ways of studying that suit them.

Learning Coach is a unique premium programme of individual mentoring and coaching, designed to help students discover how they learn best and build habits that lead to long-term success.

Unlike traditional teaching, this programme does not focus on a specific subject. One-to-one sessions help students develop the skills and habits that make learning more effective, more organised and less stressful. Together, we explore how the student learns best, identify the obstacles that may be holding them back, and build practical strategies they can apply across all subjects. Each mentoring programme is tailored to the individual student. Whether they are adjusting to a new school, preparing for important exams, or simply looking for a more effective way to study, the aim is to help them become more confident, independent and resilient learners.

The programme is led by our experienced teacher, certified EMCC coach and mentor, who combines professional coaching with extensive experience in education. It is this unique combination of expertise that makes Learning Coach such an exceptional programme. It is neither traditional teaching nor a collection of generic study tips. It is a personalised process that helps students understand how they learn best and develop skills that will benefit them far beyond the classroom.

The programme is conducted exclusively in English.

Giada Cortese

Giada was born and raised in Florence but has been living abroad for the past 8 years. She loves learning new languages and that's the reason why she left Italy and decided to explore the world and its different cultures. She has lived in Morocco, Qatar, the UAE, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Spain. Currently she lives in Slovakia.

Giada is quite introverted but she also loves meeting new people, exploring new places, dancing, and roller-skating.

Teaching is a big passion of hers. Even though she has tried different types of jobs, she has always come back to teaching. She believes that studying a language is a life-changing experience.

For her, teaching English is like building a bridge which connects people and creates opportunities. She believes that establishing a good relationship with students, understanding their needs and interests, is a key component in their improvement and growth.

In addition to teaching, she is also an internationally accredited EMCC coach and mentor.

For me, you are the best language school in Slovakia. I would actually prefer face to face classes, but then I would not have the opportunity to have sessions with Sam, who is a fantastic teacher. Think about having branches in other parts of Slovakia too. For example in Myjava or Senica districts, there is no language school of your quality, and adults as well as pupils at primary and secondary schools would need your services along their path of education.
