Do you want to help your students not only learn new material, but also understand how to learn effectively? This course will show you how to incorporate cognitive processes such as memory, attention, learning, and motivation into your teaching. You’ll learn how to work with students’ mental habits so they become better, more independent learners—and you, a more effective teacher.
Many teachers focus mainly on what to teach, but it is equally important to understand how students learn. This course will provide you with insights from cognitive psychology and neuroscience that you can immediately apply to your teaching. We will focus on how basic cognitive processes—memory, attention, comprehension, problem-solving, and learning as a process—work.
We'll show you how to help students learn new material effectively and create an environment that fosters deeper understanding and long-term retention of knowledge.
You will gain practical tools, such as strategies to improve attention and concentration in the classroom, approaches to repetition and consolidation of information, as well as techniques that promote autonomous learning in students and lead to higher motivation. You will learn how to work with a variety of learning styles and identify barriers to learning.
The course will take the form of interactive workshops where you will put your new knowledge into practice. Together, we will create a space for sharing experiences and discussing the real challenges of teaching.
The course is designed for primary and secondary school teachers, lecturers, special educators, and trainers who want to expand their didactic toolkit with knowledge from cognitive psychology. It is also suitable for anyone interested in gaining a better understanding of how we learn and how we can effectively communicate this to others.
In 2020, we became the first language school in Slovakia to receive international accreditation from EAQUALS, and we remain the only one in the country. EAQUALS is a guarantor of quality in language education for schools operating in an international environment.

For all our clients we provide services
For me, you are the best language school in Slovakia. I would actually prefer face to face classes, but then I would not have the opportunity to have sessions with Sam, who is a fantastic teacher. Think about having branches in other parts of Slovakia too. For example in Myjava or Senica districts, there is no language school of your quality, and adults as well as pupils at primary and secondary schools would need your services along their path of education.
