In this workshop, participants will dive into the underlying aspects of phrasal verbs with a particular emphasis on raising awareness, and being able to work out and recognise the often-overlooked metaphorical meanings of prepositions and adverbs when we come across them in both idiomatic and everyday language.
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to recognise the connotations and meanings hidden within phrasal verbs (and similar structures). Participants will come away being able to see the connections and relationship of adverbs and prepositions within lexical units, and to then also use these observations as a benchmark to help them feel more comfortable when coming across phrasal verbs in the future.
This workshop will be conducted in English and is recommended for higher levels (B2-C2)
