In our afternoon snapshot, we’ll have a lively discussion about news from around the world and at home, talk about your travel cravings, and current trends in technology. Expand not only your English vocabulary but also your insight into current events around the world. In an unforced way, for example using hypothetical situations, we will learn useful idioms, play different games and most importantly, definitely won’t be bored.

In the pleasant atmosphere of a small group, you will gradually gain the confidence to speak and not be ashamed of any mistakes. Together we’ll agree on topics so that they are interesting and useful for everyone – to allow us to practice common colloquial phrases as best as possible. In fact, we know from experience that conversation courses are effective when our brains are thinking fully about “how to say this” and not “what to say about this”. Under the guidance of an experienced tutor, the afternoon conversations on various topics will also be useful grammar practice with an emphasis on individual needs.

Starting your working week in the heart of the Old Town with inspiring topics and the feeling that you have done something useful for your personal development on Monday will surely recharge you with positive energy.

Who is the course for

The course is suitable for students who have an advanced level of English somewhere in the B2 level and would like to maintain this level and brush up their communication skills. The course has a frequency of 1x90min per week, so it is one of those courses that keeps the language in shape rather than pushing it up a level. It is thus aimed at those who don't have a lot of time but still plan to stay in touch with English.
