Are you a teacher who not only wants to improve your English, but also to gain more insight into teaching techniques? Are you somewhere at B1+/B2 level and find it difficult to move on? Do you have limited opportunities to practice real conversation? 5 days of intensive, dynamic but fun teaching will take your English to the next level and give you lots of ideas to use in your classroom.
The 5-day intensive language course for teachers and trainers combines English language teaching with an extension of pedagogical knowledge and personalized language coaching. Even if you don't teach English or other subjects in English, we are sure you'll take away a lot of useful knowledge and skills that you will definitely use in your own classroom. The course is designed to push your English beyond your current level and increase your confidence in using it, and also teach you many new learning techniques that you can use for yourself or for your students.
Our course is built so that you won't be bored for a second. We believe that students learn best when they are actively engaged in using the language, so this course will give you the opportunity to experience this for yourself. Lively discussions and lots of interaction with the instructor and fellow students await you. At the same time, you can expect a personalised approach, with space at the start to define your goals, expectations of the course and preferred learning styles. At the end, you receive individualised feedback and tailored recommendations for further study from the tutor, as well as working with you to identify your learning goals and provide you with tips and strategies for continuous improvement. Through the course, you will learn how to become a more independent and effective language learner.
During the course we will go through all areas of language skill improvement together, including focus on key grammatical concepts such as tenses, conditionals, prepositions, and modals.
At the end of the course you will receive the Certificate of Attendance and Europass Mobility document, or any other document your organisation/school requires to submit for applying Erasmus+ programme.
For teachers and trainers of English, but also of any other subject, who teach mainly lower grades. They want to improve their English skills and are at an intermediate B1+/B2 level. They need English for teaching or in their personal life and are interested in learning as much as possible about modern teaching techniques.
In 2020, we were the first language school in Slovakia to receive international accreditation from EAQUALS and we are the only one in Slovakia so far. EAQUALS is the guarantor of quality language education for schools in an international environment.
Emma is a friend we all wish we had. Chill, empathetic and deeply invested in others, with a brilliant sense of humour.
She has a master’s degree in literature from Queen Mary’s College, University of London, and a CELTA diploma from the International House London.
What he values the most about teaching is “getting to know many inspiring students and helping them get better at English”. She is talkative and enjoys meeting new people. At the same time she is also very structured and goal-oriented. Her students like her for her sense of humour and friendly nature.
Emma comes from the south west of England.
She enjoys reading, travelling, and visiting galleries and museums. Cooking and trying new recipes are her passions. However, you will not get her to go on a bike trip, as she can’t ride a bike. She will gladly go on a hike though.

I can't imagine a better teacher than Mary, we really clicked. I really appreciate that you do your best to assign teachers to students also based on personality and character.
