About course

The one-year Foreign Language Teacher Training Course is our most comprehensive training program for foreign language teachers. It is based on standard methodologies and the extensive experience of our teachers who are internationally certified to teach English as a foreign language. Our international team of teachers and mentors bring constant inspiration from around the world, innovating and complementing proven practices with the latest advancements in language education.

Our teaching methodology is rooted in communicative language teaching. This student-centred approach allows students to fully engage and actively discover English, with the teacher facilitating the learning process. This methodology, which has achieved excellent results, is also the foundation of the Foreign Language Teacher course.

Throughout the school year, we cover a wide range of topics both theoretically and practically. These include:

  • Introduction to the structure, functions, and phonology of the English language
  • Techniques for teaching speaking, writing, reading, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, and functional language
  • Methods for analysing language and planning the teaching process
  • Lesson planning and material adaptation/creation
  • Working with different learning styles and motivational factors
  • Teaching students in diverse social and cultural contexts

We emphasise practical techniques and skills, ensuring graduates can speak confidently , solve classroom problems, and give constructive feedback. In addition to regular online classes, the course includes further development opportunities such as:

  • Offline sessions on Saturdays for all participants
  • Teaching practice with real students under the guidance of an experienced teacher trainer
  • Observation opportunities of classes taught by certified teachers

Our course teachers take an individual approach to each participant, providing structured feedback and recommendations.

At The Bridge, we believe this course will produce quality foreign language teachers, and we are keen to offer employment to some of its graduates.
