Do you like books and want to keep your English in shape? We have a conversation course for intermediate students (B1/B1+) focusing on reading in English and talking about books. Once a week, you can spend an enjoyable 60 minutes of online conversation in a small group of like-minded enthusiasts and under the guidance of a certified teacher.
Book Club is a course that combines the enjoyable with the useful. If you are a book and English enthusiast, you will feel like a fish in water here. And you can fit it into any diary you have.
Once a week in the early evening, the course will brush up your conversational English skills in stimulating discussions with your classmates and the tutor. The lecturer will always pre-determine a book title or book excerpt to read when you have time. You don't have to worry about reading difficult books, you will be provided with edited versions of books that correspond to your level of English. The themes from the fiction you read will be the basis for shared conversation evenings where you will enjoy a variety of creative activities, lively discussions and, most importantly, you will converse in English the whole time.
The course is suitable for students who have a level of English between B1/B1+ and would like to not only maintain this level but also strengthen their communication. The course has a frequency of 1x60min per week, so it is one of those courses that keeps the language in shape rather than moving it forward in level. It is thus aimed at those who do not have enough time, but still plan to stay in touch with English.

Emma is a friend we all wish we had. Chill, empathetic and deeply invested in others, with a brilliant sense of humour.
She has a master’s degree in literature from Queen Mary’s College, University of London, and a CELTA diploma from the International House London.
What he values the most about teaching is “getting to know many inspiring students and helping them get better at English”. She is talkative and enjoys meeting new people. At the same time she is also very structured and goal-oriented. Her students like her for her sense of humour and friendly nature.
Emma comes from the south west of England.
She enjoys reading, travelling, and visiting galleries and museums. Cooking and trying new recipes are her passions. However, you will not get her to go on a bike trip, as she can’t ride a bike. She will gladly go on a hike though.

It was my best choice of language school. The teacher recommended me extra things to study that I had not even heard of before.
