We have designed the year-long online course for teachers to equip participants with the skills and strategies of CLIL methodology. This course is designed for foreign language teachers who are already using CLIL or planning to use it and want to consolidate their knowledge of its principles and methodological framework, as well as gain more practice in planning and leading activities in their classes.
This course is for language teachers who already use CLIL or plan to use CLIL, and would like to consolidate their knowledge of the CLIL principals and its methodological framework, as well as get more practice in planning and running CLIL activities, lessons and units.
Once or twice a month during the school year, we will be working in a small group, where everybody will have a chance to gradually develop a unit of classroom work by adapting textbook materials and / or online teaching and authentic materials to their students’ needs, and also create their own.
Interactive input and demo sessions will be followed by researching, planning and preparing for classroom work in your chosen topic for your chosen group of learners. Then you’ll share your ideas with the group. By the end, we will have prepared, tried out and shared materials for your own students’ needs. It will be essential that you come prepared for the sessions and do all the homework tasks.
Online meeting dates for the 2024/2025 school year: 10/4, 10/18, 11/8, 11/22, 12/13, 12/17, 1/17, 1/31, 2/14, 3/7, 3/21, 4/4, 4/25, 5/16, 6/6.

Thanks to the course, I gained a clear understanding of what coaching truly is and how I can practically benefit from it while advancing my own self-development. I appreciated the swift transition from theory to practice, as we quickly began learning through real conversations with clients. The first interviews were challenging, but the professional yet approachable guidance from the teachers and support from classmates helped me navigate event he more difficult situations. The international certification and the opportunity to improve my English are valuable added benefits of this course.
I achieved the skills I wanted to acquire, while understanding that the learning process is permanent. I think the frequency of the sessions was optimal, and my personal work and my coaching sessions with clients helped me to make significant progress. What I appreciate the most about the course are the pedagogy, the open minded discussions, the learning atmosphere and the team spirit. I have reached around 120 hours of coaching and plan to continue coaching in my company to help young managers progress. Andrea and Mike are excellent! ! They complement each other wonderfully, offer a high level of support and are always open to discussion.
I would highly recommend Mike as a professional coach. He helped me not only to improve my English coaching vocabulary, but also taught me several extremely helpful coaching methods and tools.
Mike is a great expert and a very kind person - he is enthusiastic, curious, creative, and does it all with a positive attitude. He treats clients like partners, trusts them and encourages their inputs. Mike also provides very useful resources and support which I appreciated greatly.
