Creativity in the Classroom

Programme:

A variety of (creative) writing activities for busy English language teachers, including

  • Poetry Lost and Found
  • Prose to Poetry (and vice versa)
  • Haikufe(a)st
  • Very Very Short Stories
  • Collective Writing
  • et al suggested by the participants.

Course is free of charge for enthusiastic teachers :). However it has limited number of places (max 12), so please let us know that you coming: info@thebridge.sk

Please bring your favourite short poem and/or a short text that you particularly like.

rakeshAbout tutor:
Rakesh Bhanot studied Philosophy and Literature and has a Masters in English Studies from the University of London. He has taught English and trained teachers of English in many parts of the world. He has published widely and is the Founder Editor of the journal Language Issues. Having served on the editorial boards of many journals and magazine, he was, until recently, Arts Editor for the magazine Asian Global Impact. Prior to taking early retirement, Rakesh was the Programme Manager for a part-time degree in Professional and Creative Writing at Coventry University, UK.
Rakesh writes poetry and short stories in a number of languages and has recently published a series of haikus.
