Summer camp with playful English for schoolchildren<\/p>\n
For the past 5 years, we have been organising a summer of fun and creative English for school children aged 7-12 to show them at this early age that learning a foreign language doesn’t have to be boring and tedious. Judging by the reactions of both the children and their parents so far, we are succeeding in this. The children look forward to new experiences every day, they are not afraid to use English in a safe and playful atmosphere, regardless of their level of proficiency. With creative activities, they don’t even notice that their vocabulary in a foreign language naturally develops and reactions become more responsive. While children are learning, they are also taking a break from school – because by using English in activities they enjoy, they discover that learning English is not an obligation, but a pathway to new knowledge and experiences.<\/p>\n
The camp program is designed and led by our international instructors who are certified to teach English as a foreign language. In previous years, the children have explored interesting facts about India, Spain, Ireland, Brazil and France. This year, a sixth country – Australia – awaits them. The children will learn a lot about the customs, culture and everyday life there, using English in conversation with a foreign tutor and new friends. But there’s much more in store for them – creative hands-on activities to develop their fine motor skills as well as indoor and outdoor games to learn healthy cooperation and competition. And many other surprises.<\/p>\n
You can choose from two dates directly at our school, in the pedestrian zone in the centre of Bratislava, or from two dates at the Hojdana kindergarten in Ru\u017einov. As busy parents, you are probably now wondering how to get your children to the pedestrian zone. We have a solution. To save you valuable time that you would otherwise waste parking, we will pick up your children in front of the Falkensteiner Hotel at the Zochova bus stop (direction to Petr\u017ealka) every morning before the start of the camp on Ba\u0161tova Street, where our school is located.<\/p>\n
In case you tend to stay longer at work, we offer you a PREMIUM version of the day camp, which ends at 18:00, so it lasts 2 hours longer than the BASIC camp. You don’t have to worry about meals either – snack, lunch and lunch are all provided by us. This applies to both locations where our summer camps will be held.<\/p>\n
