On June 9th, we invite English teachers around the world to come together and celebrate the life and legacy of Mario Rinvolucri \u2014 a visionary, a pioneer of Humanizing Language Teaching, and a beloved mentor to many.
Mario, who passed away in February 2025, spent his life reshaping how we understand teaching. He believed language learning should be deeply human \u2014 relational, personal, and alive. He challenged rigid coursebook approaches and advocated for creativity, authenticity, and emotional intelligence in the classroom. His work continues to inspire teachers around the globe.<\/p>

Why June 9th?<\/strong>
It would have been Mario\u2019s birthday. What better day to honour the man who taught us that teaching is more than information delivery \u2014 it\u2019s connection, presence, and growth?<\/p>
