This is their short introduction:<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our organization, Asoci\u00e1cia absolventov \u0161tipendijn\u00fdch programov (Scholarship Program Alumni Association) administers the Secondary School Scholarship Program in Slovakia.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The<strong> Secondary&nbsp;School&nbsp;Scholarship Program <\/strong>is a unique and longest-running program of its kind in Slovakia. Since 1993, over 300 scholarships have been awarded in cooperation with the program&#8217;s current partner organizations ASSIST and HMC.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The program allows excellent students to spend one or two school years at a private high school in the USA or Great Britain.&nbsp;<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The program has been administered by the Open Society Foundation (NOS-OSF) since 1993, and then, in 2019, it was transferred to the LEAF organization.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2023, in order for the program to continue operating in Slovakia, it was transferred under the auspices of its alumni organization.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The conference is a unique opportunity to reach out to the teachers of English who, for many years, have been key motivators and supporters of our applicants.
