About course
Ben´s class:
This course approaches the English Language from a lexical viewpoint meaning that the focus is on vocabulary but vocabulary in the widest sense. Using authentic materials we will look at collocations, idiomacity, lexical ‘chunks’ and much more besides to explore how the English language actually works in practice. The homework task for this course will be to read a modern English novel in its original form and a discussion of its chapters will form part of each lesson.
The course is designed to genuinely push your English forward and will present a number of challenges; it will also involve a significant amount of laughter along the way.
